About Us
Staple Bench Computers is locally owned and operated by Jim Conner. After working with several computer repair companies in the valley, Jim realized that the majority of customers were being treated like numbers, not people. He set out to revolutionize the computer repair industry by providing superior, personalized, customer service oriented IT services.
Staple
Bench Computers strives to incorporate technology in a way to accomplish
individual goals set forth by you or your company. We are only as
successful as our customers, and your satisfaction is our main concern.
Don’t fall prey to the current trend of Geeks, Guru’s, or Nerds that are
out there, your computer needs require the skill and attention of a
professional.
How Staple Bench Computers differs from other companies:
There are a lot of computer companies currently in the market for you to
choose from, however the vast majority of the computer companies today use the
“Mc Fix” method of clean reinstalling the operating system, rather than fixing
the problem itself, at Staple Bench Computers, Jim would rather fix the actual
problem, instead of wiping your whole computer clean by reinstalling the
operating system. The end result is that you don’t have to reconfigure your
personal settings and it didn’t cost you anything extra. On occasion the only
way to correct the problem is to reinstall the operating system however Staple
Bench Computers would rather exhaust all other options first.
Staple Bench Computers believes in keeping our rates reasonable for our clients,
and charging fair rates for a quality service. Staple Bench Computers doesn’t
charge a trip charge.
Because several factors are involved with computer repair, our billable time
differs per project. For off site repairs (repairs made at our location), we
don’t believe in penalizing your wallet for slow scanning programs, which means
that although it may take numerous hours to scan your computer for viruses,
spyware, adware, etc., you are only billed for the time that Staple Bench
Computers ACTUALLY worked on your computer, NOT for the additional scanning
time.
Staple Bench Computers protects your right to privacy and security:
In January 2004, the Personal Information Privacy Act (PIPA) was passed.
Staple Bench Computers recognizes the obligation we have to you, our
customer to comply with these regulations while your computer is in our
care. In order to insure that your personal information is kept
confidential, we have decided to update our procedures for backing up
your computer
Due to data loss from software or hardware malfunction in the past,
Staple Bench Computers has decided that for your safety, a back up copy
will be made of your hard drive prior to any back up work being done on
your PC. We will place the information from your hard drive into a
temporary folder on our server, until the issues are resolved and the
work is completed on your computer, at that time the data will be
returned to your computer and permanently removed from our server.
It is absolutely necessary that we make you aware that our server is a
secure place to store your information until we've finished with the
work on your PC, and we ultimately destroy your information from our
server. Our compliance with the regulations under PIPA, allows us to
hopefully make you feel more at ease with our dedication to your
confidentiality. Staple Bench Computers holds our technicians to the
highest level of compliance with state and federal guidelines for your
protection. Thank you for allowing us to service your needs.
